This position is supporting PR activities of China market. To interpret PR strategy into action to maximize the effectiveness of marketing activities as well as strengthen the brand desirability in industry.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in both oral and written English
• Over 5 years’ experience in Luxury/Fashion/Cosmetics industry in-house or PR agency background
• Has insights towards fashion & luxury industry communication trend and know how
• Skillful celebrity management experience / relationship
• Strong copy writing skill
• Owns creative mindset

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibility 1-PR strategic planning

• Support line manager to develop PR strategy and liaise with marketing colleagues for key campaign marketing report.
• Work closely with line manager to supervise PR retainer & project agency for their delivery quality and review monthly/ weekly PR reports
• Closely monitor industry trends, and analyze competitor's activities.
• Support PR manager to control risks and crisis.
• Internal communication:
• Direct report to China PR Manager
• Work closely with EC, Marcom, Event, Supply Chain, and Training team, etc.

Key responsibility 2-Public Relationship

• Build up a solid connection and communication with journalists / KOLs to maximize brand, event and product exposures
• Support line manager to manage brand image through key campaign communications.
• Better feature product communication angles, celebrity endorsement, and brand story in communication and optimize the visibility and word of mouth for the brand.
• Work closely with line manager to initiate and manage relation building activities with key media.
• Support line manager to enlarge celebrity friends’ pool of The Maison, to enhance brand visibility via product seeding and know how on ePR communication to amplify the buzz.

Key responsibility 3-Press materials, contents & Press coverage

• Press materials proofreading, manage press library and archives.
• Supervise press photo shooting, liaise with group risk team and PR agency on daily basis.
• Support line manager to supervise key media collaboration / as the gate keeper from brand side to ensure the communication is consistent.
• As a key role to liaise with HQ on media inquiry coordination and PR performance report.

Key responsibility 4-PR events and campaigns planning and execution

• Strongly support to PR activities and events nationally and internationally
• Supervise local PR agencies for different functions and purposes
• Ensure optimize the message delivery, event effectiveness and maximize PR coverage
