Responsibilities: 

• Lead functional and local product teams to develop optimal pricing structure to achieve product goals of improving profitability and/or growth
• Lead mixture of advanced predictive modeling, statistical techniques and judgment to create new product concepts and develop the structure and pricing for East products
• Partner with local market senior management (CEO, Product and Distribution market leaders, etc) to implement new pricing programs, meeting business goals and ensuring desired level of quality
• Provide independent assessment on market sophistication level in terms of predictive modeling and work with regional and global product senior leadership for project prioritization
• Research new modeling techniques to develop improvements to our models and modeling processes
• Research for additional sources of information to enrich the existent models
• Partner with the Cat Management team to implement the Cat rating

Qualifications:

• Proven math, analytical skills and insurance expertise as normally acquired through the FCAS/FIA or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or related field. 
• P&C Insurance industry experience preferred; financial services industry experience a must 
• Background in Statistical Learning. Must be familiar with the use of statistical modeling software (SAS, R, Python, Emblem, etc.) with the ability to build models of moderate complexity. Programming and data manipulation skills a plus.
• Can take ownership of projects and deliver high quality work through others
• Aptitude for effective, innovative problem solving within and across functional groups
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills to reach alignment with local, regional and global senior management 
• Ability to establish and build effective relationships within and outside the organization. 
• Knowledge of insurance operations and the procedures of Financial, Underwriting, Claims, Statistical, Information Technology, Legal, and Sales departments is preferred
• Experience working with countries in Asia highly regarded
