ABB Motors and Generators deliver a complete range of motors, generators and mechanical power transmission products for all industries and applications. We provide the highest quality and service to our customers all around the world, with a focus on helping to use energy more efficiently.

You will be responsible for products quality control, resolve the quality issues from the whole procedure (Design, vendor, production, customer), support new products development and make the inspection quality.

This is a Quality Engineer role reporting to Quality Manager in Business Area – Motion, Motors & Generators located in Shanghai, China.

- Preparing and updating quality control plan, inspection planning and instructing to make sure to meet quality target for products.
- Isolating non-conformity parts and resolving them timely, cooperating with SQE to improve vendors’ quality.
- Cooperating with cross function and calibrating inspection tools and instruments timely.
- Participating in internal auditing to auditing plan, implementing SPC,MSA,FMEA and etc.
- Preparing quality report/statement, resolving quality issues from vendor, production, customer.
- Taking lead in quality improvement team meeting, driving the implementation and improvement of quality culture.
- Participating in quality improvement project leaded by others.

- Must have graduated in 2020 or 2021 with bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanism related.
- Good communication skill with highly responsible, self-motivated and Willing to take on additional tasks.
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral.
- Excellent teamwork and sharing spirit.
- A very strong learning ability and pragmatic spirit and should have positive progressive attitude under pressure to work.
