Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
Detailed Description
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Job Requirements
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

The Product Manager for HCM is responsible for the planning, development and execution of product throughout the product lifecycle and exit management, including: gathering and prioritizing market requirements, definition and execution of the product strategy. The product manager is expected to work closely with cross functional teams and to ensure that the Business Line objectives are met and in line with the company's strategy and goals. The product manager is expected to participate in creating creative and cost effective solutions for customers.
Activities
· Must understand process definition for HCM application. Understand the drivers to build a successful and sustainable HR/HCM product offerings.
·Global Payroll Legislative Compliance for JAPAN & CHINA regions are must.
·Display business acumen to Own, Manage Plans to drive profitable market share through new product development and enhancements
· Work pro-actively and independently to drive strategic initiatives and set up working models
·Proven ability to inspire and influence customers, partners and team
· Excellent presentation, communication and networking skills, ideally combined with a strong sense for positioning and messaging
· English proficiency in both written and verbal communication
· Creative problem solving skills and strong work ethic
· Self-motivated and good teamwork spirit
· Good understanding of the software development life cycle is a plus
· Strong design skills in software solutions is a plus
Essential Qualifications
1. Education
a. Bachelors degree from a recognized university or The Institute
b. A Masters degree would be advantageous
c. Technical specialization in HR/HCM would be advantageous
2. Technical
a. Strong understanding of the HCM/HR tools and disciplines.
b. Product documentation
3. Experience
a. 5-11 years of experience with Global Payroll Knowledge. Product Management / Business Related Functions in IT Environment
b. Business process design or Implementation of HR/HCM systems would be an added advantage.
