MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    

    

(A)   SPECIFIC (80%)

    

1)  Develop audit programs and perform risk assessment to determine specific key risk areas

    

2)  Review processes and systems to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations which have significant impact on the organization

    

3)  Ensure that audit approach complies with audit methodology and quality of audit papers are maintained to high standards throughout all audit assignments

    

4)  Perform assigned audit duties in a manner that reflects the highest professional standards and escalate issues of concern early such that any re-planning can be achieved without significant disruption to the objectives of the audit

    

5)  Ensure timely audit progress update is being communicated to Senior Manager, Internal Audit

    

6)  Deliver high quality audit reports with value-added recommendations that positively influence stakeholders to embed risk management and internal control practices and to improve the overall strength of the control framework

    

7)     Contributes proactively and operate as part of an effective team

    

8)  Manage time effectively to ensure audit objectives are achieved

    

9)  Follow-up with auditees for audit rectification and process improvements

    

10)  Support Senior Manager, Internal Audit in developing annual audit plan

    

    

    

(B)   GENERAL (20%)

    

       1)  Perform special projects or investigations when required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

    

    

(A)   EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

    

1     Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent

    

2     At least 5 years of relevant audit working experience

    

3     Experience in business process reviews, both operational and IT related

    

4     Good command in spoken and written English

    

5     Strong analytical and communication skills

    

6     Ability to work independently and travel, when required

    

    

(B)   PROFESSIONAL LICENCE

    

1     Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountant (CICPA)

    

2     Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
