You will support Project Manager in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the project’s performance.

This is a Project Controller role, reporting to Controlling and Planning Manager in Business Area- Robotics & Discrete Automation, Business Function Finance-located in Shanghai, China which provides defined services to the internal customers with best quality in the most efficient way.

- Supporting the tender manager on financial aspects, providing input to negotiations on commercial issues, providing input in local risk review process.
- Providing input to the Project Execution Plan on financial aspects, preparing project invoices, project accounting and reporting, driving project cash flow and oversees currency risk and tax issues. Being responsible for the correctness of project balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow and monthly/quarterly forecast.
- Coordinating various level project reviews, participating in opportunity/risk identification, monitoring that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented. Supporting the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews, participating in preparing the project cost report, verifying the substance for cost to complete.
- Providing support on claim management, back-charging and insurance cases and monitoring the proper follow up together with the Contract Manager/Project Manager up-stream (towards customer), side-stream (towards consortia partner) as well as down-stream (towards suppliers).
- Supporting the Project Manager in adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, country specific finance directives and instructions.

- Must have a Financial degree as basic qualification. Accounting Designation preferred. Engineering background is plus.
- Must have relevant industry experience in the similar or equivalent industry with project controlling or project management background.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with 3 years in project controlling or project management.
- Must exhibit good inter-personal skills to interact with project management team and various other functions, good cultural sensibility and awareness necessary to effectively collaborate with the local team as well as global management team.
- Solid knowledge of PS module in SAP.
- Must have fluent English skills.
