THE ROLE:

Technical lead responsible for System and Silicon features enablement and Debugging of AMD dGPU products in our Shanghai R&D Center (SRDC) and drive to production system solution. Systems are integrated combinations of computer hardware components and software components.

THE PERSON:

Strong leadership skills, take initiative to deal with challenging problems. Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive pre & post-Silicon platform feature validation definition & execution.
• Define system specification, negotiate features with input teams and silicon designers.
• Work with functional teams to prioritize and develop test plans for all aspects of testing.
• Develop and drive detailed workflow for all development and Validation through Phased Validation Process.
• Drive silicon validation, and debug of existing and new dGPU products.
• Trouble shooting and narrow down issues and drive solid solutions for the technical issues and design challenges.
• Develop and maintain debug scripts for new and existing dGPU products.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience on low level FW/SW development or ASIC design verification
• Experience with DFT / Crash dump is preferred.
• Prior experience with IA32/x86 based HW/FW design is a big plus
• Prior experience with testing tools and environments is a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Major in EE, CS or related, Master Degree with 5+ years or Bachelor with 7+ years working experience.
