Responsibilities include:

Daily interaction with project team to address any network related questions and to ensure the network is implemented as designed

Keep nVent network architect up to date on current status of network installation and ensure that any design changes are approved by nVent architect

Monitor the purchase and installation of IT infrastructure to ensure that only approved hardware is installed

Help maintain a list of open activities and issues

Assist with the testing of network functionality and performance as the network is implemented

 

Qualifications:

General understanding of cabling topology and networking (CCNA, Network+)

Network troubleshooting skills

Experience working with 3rd party vendors, translating business/IT requirements in to actions for vendors and vendor questions/requests in to actions for IT.

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both spoken and written

Great customer-first attitude
