This is a Senior GL accountant position required by our client who is a famouse retail company located near Zhongshan Park. The person should be responsible for accounting activities and reporting relate to the general ledger of trading company and representative office, and in charge of general ledger accounting related to fixed assets and tax.

Detail Function as below:

1.   Be responsible for general ledger accounting, such as tax, stock provision, accounts reconciliation, BAF review and etc.

2.   Perform monthly closing tasks, to ensure timely closing and deliver accurate financial report in compliance with both Group and statutory requirements;

3.   Be responsible for financial statement review and analysis;

4.   Assist or lead process/system improvement;

5.   Assist in annual audit process, cooperate and coordinate with internal as well as external auditor.

6.   Other ad hoc projects where necessary.

Requirement:

1. Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Accounting or other relevant subjects. Certificates of Accounting Profession (preferable CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia)

2. 3-5 years working experience in a multinational company, with good performance appraisal. Retail and trade industry would be a plus.

3.  Experience on GL and reporting, or APAC share service experience would be a plus;

3.  Experience in Financial/Accounting process improvement.

4.  Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or other relevant subjects;

5.  Knowledge of IFRS, PRC Accounting Principles and Chinese Tax Regulations;

6.  Fluency in Mandarin and English;

7.  Advanced PC skill (especially in Excel); and

8.  Familiar with accounting software.
