    Summary of  Position    

The System Engineer deploys solutions and supports customer projects both from the office and onsite. The System Engineer specializes in one Vizrt product line such as Graphics or Automation.

    Responsibilities    

Is responsible for setting up, configuring, customizing and testing systems which include integration with third party hardware and software. The role requires an effective dialogue with end-users, developers and technical staff both internally and externally.

     Tasks and Duties

●        Deploy high-quality systems to Vizrt clients

○         Configure and launch Vizrt systems into production

○         Use web service APIs to build simple interfaces to external systems

○         Provides system admin level task on systems, including adding new users, customizing pull-down menus, troubleshooting system issues, making stability and feature enhancements etc.

●        Developing Vizrt products

○         Works closely with product manager on specifying and testing major features

○         Actively involves in lab tests for new software development

○         Works with colleagues to share best practices and coach new engineers and partners

●        Support to other departments

○         Assist support organization with technical issues encountered by customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or similar
• Broadcast, computer graphics and network knowledge are required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  2+ years’ system administration experience working in a broadcast IT or enterprise software environment
• 2+ years’ experience with shell scripting and troubleshooting
• Programming experience in OOP and Scripting languages, such as Python
• Knowledge about technologies such as XML, REST
