You will be responsible for Firmware development of Energy Distribution products and solution, especially Intelligent SPD, Residual Current Breakers (RCD) and Motor Operating Device (MOD) etc. This is a R&D Firmware Engineer, reporting to R&D Manager in Business Area – Electrification - Smart Buildings, located in Beijing, China which provides defined services to the internal customers with best quality in the most efficient way.

- Being responsible for Firmware development or redesign of Energy Distribution products and solution (for example, Intelligent SPD, RCD, MOD, Energy Distribution product, etc.) according to China and Global market requirements.
- Contributing significant in technology/product development by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative firmware solution.
- Performing requirement analysis and firmware specification finalized according to product specification.
- Working on Firmware development, including preliminary design, detail design and verification tests for industrial electronic product. Co-operating closely with hardware design to achieve certain function, including verification and improvement.
- Providing debugging support for new and existing designs, BUG fix ensuring prompt rectification of problems.
- Providing products and production technical support and analyzing customer complaints.

- Must have a bachelor’s degree or above with major in computer science, software engineering or automatic technology related.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in firmware development of industrial electronic product, experience in intelligent SPD, RCD, MOD and energy distribution product preferred.
- Must be skilled at common software programming languages, C is a must
- Should be familiar with C++/C#, 802.11 protocol and Modbus will be preferred with understanding embedded operating system.
- Ability of writing test cases, perform test, make report, building test environment or platform would be preferred.
- Should be familiar with signal processing and sampling algorithms, DC motor drive is preferred
- Good communication skill should be able to communicate in English, both written and oral will be required.
- Should be highly responsible, self-motivated and autonomous at work, good teamwork spirit, willing to contribute to the team’s success, capable of managing changes and multi-tasks during the development phase.
