Department Description The Fusion HCM product development group is a geographically dispersed organization with team members based across the US, EMEA and APAC regions and is responsible for the development of solutions in the area of Human Capital Management within the Fusion Application.

The release and operations team has responsibility for managing various department wide initiatives relating to the release and packaging of application source code and various operational aspects of the Fusion application development process.
Brief Posting Description
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Detailed Description
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

Additional Details
Undertake tasks related to creating and managing development environments, working with product team leads and integrators in a virtual team environment

Create, Support and manage development environments
Maintain, patch and upgrade environments with new code
Development of utilities and tools to support various environment operations and software release activities including reporting
Support development teams in source control build and integration activities
Formulate education, support and best practice documentation for development with regard to build processes and tools
Provide assistance to QA team in environment support
Qualifications
? BS or MS degree
? Previous experience in Operations, System administration, or product development areas
? Excellent communication and organizational skills
? Understanding of large scale enterprise application deployment and administration
? In depth knowledge of WebLogic application server administration, Enterprise Manager, Oracle Database
? Knowledge of the Oracle development toolset and technology
? Working knowledge of Unix environment and familiar with scripting tools (e.g. Perl, shell etc)
