职位描述
In partnership with the store management team and in line with corporate visual guidelines, provide a full visual merchandising service within the assigned Flagship location; including execution of window merchandise changes and prop installation, keeping interiors maintained to the required standard and training the store staff and management team in maintaining visual standards within the store.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively participate with the store management team to make the best visual merchandising decisions for the store whilst maintaining the corporate visual standards by putting forward ideas and suggestions for the merchandising of product following store constraints (customer profile, flow, type of fixtures, merchandise, etc.)
- Partner with Visual Regional Manager to plan window changes and floor moves or changes
- Organise and conduct in-store training sessions on visual merchandising guidelines and standards each season to store staff
- Ensure the store staff understand the corporate visual direction to execute visual floor sets effectively and according to visual standards
- Participate in organising special in-store events (collection preview and shopping events, cocktail parties, etc.) and be flexible to participate in new store openings across the region and assist other stores in the cluster as needed for the business
- In collaboration with the General Manager, check stock on the sales floor and ensure quick reaction to display and feature new products when delivered; and monitor stock level to know what to push on mannequins and other featured displays
- Ensure all Health and Safety legislation and processes are adhered to
- Work in close partnership with the Store Operations Manager, Housekeeping and Asset and Profit Protection team to ensure visual installations and changes are executed efficiently
- Drive the digital strategy by embracing new technology and be flexible and reactive to leverage technology initiatives with visual merchandising in the store
- Maintain the store stockroom and housekeeping standards; and demonstrate proper care and accountability for merchandise used on display
- Manage the visual budget for the store
- Demonstrate awareness of current advertising and marketing campaigns, new product launches and promotions and update store visuals accordingly
- Cascade company visual communications to all members of the store team and lead by example when embracing brand messages
- Be the ultimate Brand Ambassador, seen by others as a beacon of the brand and bring to life Burberry’s core values – Protect, Explore, Inspire
- Ensure you emanate the Burberry Leadership behaviours when dealing with all areas of the store and business
PERSONAL PROFILE:
- Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and people management skills
- Proven ability to network, recruit, train, develop and assess
- Proven commercial awareness and ability to problem solve in minimising risks and overcoming obstacles
- Proven ability to work in highly pressured roles
- Ability to be flexible and agile to meet business needs
- Demonstrate sound commercial and brand awareness
- Proven strong operational performance within a high volume and high turnover retail environment. Other relevant service sector experience will be considered
- Technical proficiency with SAP and MS applications
