ASSOCIATE MANAGER, AUTO CONSUMER INSIGHT - CHINA

ABOUT THIS JOB

At Nielsen, our obsession in helping our clients to grow through a comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior leveraging on the ongoing innovation in technology is what motivates us. Our work helps our clients set growth strategies and determines what products or services you ultimately see in the market and how our clients drive their marketing and trade strategies.

Apart from that, you will also be managing a client servicing team to ensure prompt delivery of service to the responsible clients in order to achieve the set financial objectives and other operational performance indicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Management

  • Achieve revenue, profitability, quality, speed of delivery and productivity targets as assigned Marketing project proposals to targeted client

  • Contribute to overall team plan by generating revenue and/or cost savings ideas

  • Prepare team performance analysis to offer insight and suggestion on management and operation

Client Service

  • Ensure research service standards are implemented and enhanced as client expectations continue to evolve and change in the marketplace

  • Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews

  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within client organization

Functional / Technical

  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure project process going smoothly

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge on research techniques and applications

  • Provide value-added analyses and respond to special requests

  • Manage data quality issues by overseeing data inquiry process

  • Recommend improvements in work processes within area of responsibility

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU

As a Manager in Consumer Insight, Auto Vertical, you will be accountable for supervising a small research team to ensure prompt delivery of research service to the responsible clients, smooth coordination with departments and precise data analysis in order to achieve the client’s project objective.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 Years of experiences in marketing research or marketing insight

  • Auto industry knowledge and experience: nice to have but not necessary

  • Experiences handling big multinational clients especially solving difficult business challenges

  • Solid ad-hoc research experiences preferred

  • Strong in data analysis, structured storytelling, presentation

  • Consultative BD experiences

  • People leader (coaching, motivation, retain and develop talents, plan, task & resources

  • management) and project management (planning, execution, review) experiences are preferred

  • General understanding about classic research methodology and statistics

  • English in speaking and written

  • Strong communication, analytical, presentation skills and good at relationship building
