Summary：

A key role in providing liaison/support to fragrance technical team and commercial team on the areas of cosmetic/fragrance legislation, product safety, chemical substance registration in ensuring that the formulations adhere to IFRA, national regulations and customers’ specific requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Review the formula suitability for the market and special customer’s guideline, and carry out the compliance check with the technical team whether the formula is correct.

• Provide accurate & timely regulatory support to the fragrance commercial including documentation, addressing queries from customers.

• Monitor the development of any emerging regulatory issues or fragrance/cosmetics/house-hold regulation and emergency situations arising in Greater China. Communicate accurately of any intelligence and/or new and proposed legal requirements that impact fragrance industry.

• Keep up to-date compliance to be able to advise and support the commercial team on the suitability of the products for specific markets for their service to customers.

• Chemical Inventory Registration & management.

  Requirements:

  Essential

• Degree/Diploma in chemistry, flavor & fragrance, or other relevant Chemical training background.

• Computer literate especially microsoft office environment, internet, etc.

• Good in Korean & Japanese & Mandarin language communication.

• Independent and self-motivated.

• Effective communication skill.

  Preferred

• 2+ years experience in Fragrance/Cosmetic Regulatory in the market.

• 1+ years experience in foreign-invested company.

• Toxicological knowledge/background.

• Good relationship with local government.
