1. Contribute to make impact in the area of Geospatial globally;
2. And drive to have the best Geospatial services in China, Japan and Korean.
The convergence of natural user interfaces, the collection & understanding of the world’s knowledge and the introduction of intelligent services has created a once in a lifetime opportunity to again change the world. These technologies delivered as a comprehensive platform and set of services will enable developers and device manufactures to build fantastic experiences. Users will come to expect a level of connectedness, personalization, intelligence and personality that will fundamentally change the way they think about and interact with technology. It is our goal to bring the power of location to users to make better use of the things near you and near where you want to go. We’ll give users the ultimate local community experience, connect them with the places to see, the news being made, the deals to be had and the experiences they don’t want to miss.
To qualify, we are looking for people:
- 8+ Years of software development experiences within a Microsoft development team
- Proven track record of learning and adopting new technologies including both platforms and programming languages
- Proven track record of troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Prior working experience in related fileds would be a bonus
- (Not required but preferred) Proficiency in one or more of the following languages including Japanese, Chinese or Korean

STCA was founded in 2005 and is now starting the second “Five-Year Plan” after integrating with Ads Platform and Bing Mobile in 2011. The new team has not only built up its strengths and expanded its scope, but also set a shared goal, broadened its vision, and is equipped with richer resources that give the team the confidence to scale new heights.
STCA is now focusing on the following areas: the continuous exploration of Bing search technology; the technical innovation of online advertisement services; the development of the MSN social platform; and the development of mobile search applications, and the next generation of Microsoft’s speech and natural language platform. Today, STCA is the largest R&D team of the Microsoft Online Services Division outside the United States with investment plans to scale well over 460 in FY12.
