Job title:      Sales Executive / Senior Executive

Reports to:  Sales Director

Purpose of the position

· To sell BSI products and services to new and existing customers across a defined BSI Training product suite.

· Responsible for identifying and managing training sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of a client’s current and future business needs and drivers.

· To position the BSI value proposition, how BSI products and services can enable organizations to improve by Making Excellence a Habit

· Deliver sales excellence by managing every step of the sales process to a successful conclusion.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities 

· Proactively network with existing customers to sell and up-sell BSI products – including cross sell of training clients to certification and vice versa.

· Focus team effort on increasing Average Order Value for Training Sales with Capacity Building and In-house products

· Closely work with Sales Team in executing BSI sales excellence processes to investigate, explore and understand customer needs in order to sell relevant training and other related BSI products and services

· Actively promote BSI products and services to new and existing customers with regards to system certification, product certification and training

· Ensure BSI products and services are delivered according to customer requirements

· Able to articulate the value of the portfolio of BSI products and services

· Can qualify sales leads appropriately and pass on to relevant sales teams

· Clearly understand and articulate the revenue, gross profit and contribution impact

· Support training department day-to-day operations.

· Develop new clientele of customers

· Act as a brand Ambassador for BSI. This means acting ethically, following company rules and promoting BSI services to clients so they are able to optimize business performance and “Make Excellence a Habit”.

Technical Background and Experience

· Diploma or degree in business admin or business studies

· Have experience in the built environment and infrastructure sector

· Familiar with the Automotive and IATF schemes

· Strong experience with the business nature of the Certification Bodies

· Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills;

· Proven track record of significantly exceeding targets and expectations;

· Proven ability in closing business to business sales and winning new customers;

· Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills;

· Demonstrable self-sufficiency in sales activities;

· Entrepreneurial relationship and business development skills;

· Ability to successfully encourage the customers to expand product range;

· Ability to develop executive level relationships and engage with the customer to establish an understanding of their business drivers and how BSI can enable them to become more efficient;

· Ability to articulate complex technical issues;

· Excellent organizational and problem solving skills;
