The Researcher/Resourcer provides support to 3-4 legal search consultants in SSQ Shanghai office. Their responsibilities include:

• Format internal documents: format lawyers’ profiles following the company’s professional standard; create lawyers’ files and make proper record in the firm’s database;

• Carry out extensive research using company database/social media network/various search tools, build connections with lawyers, and find the suitable lawyer candidates for the legal search consultants;

• Maintain database: check the company database regularly to find out any obsolete, inappropriate, missing or incorrect data and then make proper amendments;

• Monitor and study the legal recruitment market: watch law firms, large corporations, legal recruiters and other recruitment players (such as various legal media, personnel bureau, law society etc) for job opening information, industry news, data update etc;

• Draft internal report updates and maintain schedules for the consultants: help the consultants to draft and complete the weekly updates; log and record consultants' activities into database;

• Update the firm’s newsletters: collect the industry news regarding the legal talents, the movements in the legal markets and etc.; format the newsletters; maintain the newsletter email list; and

• Any other work assigned by the legal search consultants.

              

Requirements

  

• Ideal candidate should be down-to-earth at work, and have the long-term plan to stay at a prestigious boutique business;

• Nice personality, patient, extremely details-oriented, and able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines;

• Good written and verbal English skills; ?comfortable to work in an all-English environment; and

• Prior experience working at law firms or other professional service organizations would be a plus.
