Head of IA,R&C – China & East Asia

Aim and purpose of this position

  

Deliver an independent, risk-based, value-adding and regionally focused IA,R&C provision in line with the overall strategy and approach approved and reviewed by the Audit Committee.

Outsourcing: Overight of EY co-source IA provision and specialist investigative providers as necessary

  

Main tasks and responsibilities

  

(Functional, coordination and operational tasks, leadership and management tasks)

  

 

  

1 – Manage the delivery of a Regional IA,R&C programme (integrated within the overall Global IA,R&C programme) to provide high quality, timely and insightful Internal Audit, Risk Management and Compliance outputs in line with recognized professional body best practices and the standards and practices of the IA,R&C function

  

 

  

2 – Build effective relationships with the Regional leadership team to ensure the appropriate Regional focus on IA,R&C including the delivery of appropriate ad-hoc Regional IA,R&C activity

  

 

  

3 – For one of Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance and IA,R&C Innovation & Digitalisation be the IA,R&C function technical head to lead the development of, and co-ordinate the delivery of best practice across the IA,R&C function for the respective technical specialism

  

 

  

4 – Promote the personal and professional development of the members of the Regional IA,R&C team.

  

 

  

5 – Work with the Head of IA,R&C and the other three Regional IA,R&C Heads to provide a value adding,  integrated and aligned IA,R&C approach comprising the four technical specialisms and reflecting RHIM Global strategies and risks alongside the Regional factors

  

 

  

6 – Perform ad-hoc IA,R&C tasks as agreed with Head of IA,R&C

  

 

  

7 – Support the Head of IA,R&C in stakeholder management and delivering the IA,R&C outputs to Global Unit Leaders (expected to be primarily the Head of IA,R&C – Corporate & Europe & CIS & Turkey)

  

 

  

8 – Deputise, where appropriate, for the Head of IA,R&C (expected to be primarily the Head of IA,R&C – Corporate & Europe & CIS & Turkey)
