Develop advanced rapid thermal anneal processes to meet the various requirements for advanced semiconductor technology nodes. Develop and modify process BKM as needed to improve process results, involvement begin at C&F level through verification at customer sites. Design experiments, root cause analysis and detailed documentation for technical issues during development and troubleshooting. Periodic international travel (20-30%) to customer sites for on-site process support as needed.

Responsibilities

· Work with customer R&D to provide development guidance using advanced annealing for future nodes.

·  Support the customer to solve problems related to insertion of the product into customer’s manufacturing process requirements.

· Provide both on-site and remote applications support to customers.

·  Assist Sales in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications.

· Demonstrate machines to customers and provide customer training to ensure equipment is used effectively.

· Represent the customer’s interest in technical meetings with the company.

· Evaluate engineering upgrades and other product proposals submitted by development Engineering to determine the practicality and usefulness of the application by customers.

 

Skills and requirements:

· Demonstrated hands-on experimental research experience in a technical environment with strong trouble shooting skill.

· At least MS in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. MS in Physics, Material Science or related technical discipline, and Ph.D is preferred.

· Excellent data analysis, documentation and communications skill. This position requires generation of reports and presentations for internal and customer review.

· Must be able to work independently under pressure in a highly dynamic environment.

· 3-5 years of process engineering experience in a development or manufacturing environment is preferred.

· RTP experience is preferred.

· Position require 20-30% travel.

Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements:

· Complete required Safety training successfully and fully comply to the rule.

· Ensure equipment and machine are maintained in a safe manner, follow and comply to customer site safety requirement.

· Timely report to the Safety Officer any unsafe or unhealthy condition which cannot be corrected.

· Follow all safety and health regulations and work practices, including personal protective equipment where applicable.
