1. Position Objectives：

   The core purpose of this position is to apply basic and advanced process design knowledge to develop the concept of filtration products and to complete the detailed process design based on the user requirement specifications, and to drive filtration technology improvement to meet customer’s new applications and/ or more challenging requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities：

• To keep contact with the global R&D team to get being aligned and updated for Pall new products, technologies and best practice, to drive China R&D continuous improvement. Also to work with the global team for some specific NPD projects.

• To understand the market trend and progress from technology point of view, to make proposal for China R&D technology and new products development roadmap by working with the marketing and sales team, and attending the related industrial forum and exhibition. And to provides information on strategic planning and technology evaluation as needed.

• To work with the marketing and sales team to understand the User Requirement Specifications (URS) of the new products, to define product value proposition, and to convert the URS to product design specifications.

• To develop creative product concept, and to work with the project team to develop prototype for verification. And to take the lead to develop the prototype verification plan, verification execution and verification report.

• To organize the design review, and to improve/ optimize the product design.

• To do the process / principle design of the new products, and to provide design input for the mechanical and electric & automation engineers.

• To take the lead to develop the product validation plan based on the application data, URS and design data, to supervise the validation execution, and to evaluate the validation report and finalize the product design.

• To identify and utilize the outside resources and technologies to support the new product development based on the specific NPD project situation during the whole NPD process, with the legal support from IP matters point of view.

• To support the marketing team for product launch matters, and to support the sales team for some sales activities per required.

• To be actively involved in DBS, and to use DBS tools to drive R&D excellence. To take the project management role during the specific NPD stages for some specific projects.

• To support VAVE projects as needed. To support presales and customer orders execution when needed.

• To do technology training for other engineers when need.

3.Position Qualification Requirement：

• Master degree or above in Microelectronic or Microelectronic Engineering
• 5+ years’ working experience in filtration application in industry gas/ ESG/ semiconductor process / new energy related field. Solid understanding of electronic materials such as specialty gas, process material, specialty material. Familiar with gas / chemical delivery system.
• Good VOC knowledge and skills to verify and complete URS
• Deep understanding of product development, to meet URS and good business sense to build product value proposition
• Good learning capability for new technology, software and tools required for R&D work
• Excellent English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing
• Proficient in CAD software
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good team player and win-win mindset
