What is the general description of this role?
This new application manager role will be significantly improve China team's application capacity, which we expect is helping local sales team create more value added sales opportunities by using technical approach. Closely align with global product management team, engineering and application team for promotion new application and new products in China. Eliminate the weakness of current China sales team and speeding up developing new strategic channel partner who can help us promote more value added solution sales to potential customers
What are the key functions of this role:
- Proactively providing technical support and technical consultation but only limit for single product but also extend to total control solution from China sales to Global field
- Optimistically drive value added "Tailored" solution by developing strategic channel sales partner who has strong engineering capacity.
- Lead local testing and evaluation capacity, enhancing Shanghai lab's capability by cooperating with local 3rd party lab.
- Turn VOC into product's new features, inputting more engineering feedback to global R&D.
- Facilitator of new product and application technical seminar or promotion to both internal and external customers
- Expert in marketing intelligence, leading market competitor status analysis
- Manage Shanghai Lab office and conduct Demo test
任职资格:
What Background will be necessary for this role:
- Bachelor Degree (above 5 years) in Electric automatization, Instrument automation, Electromechanical, Automatic Control
- Engineering background, rich experience in PLC programming
- Good acknowledge in on-line measurement & control protocols, like OPC UA/Profinet/Profibus/Ethernet, etc
- Excellent English communication skills both written and oral with global team
- Self-starter and fast learner with strong operation ability to energize and inspire others, led by example, passion for growth.
- Say-Do accountability and tenacity to follow through tough assignment.
- Strong analytical and execution skills, excellent practical ability and problem solving skills, requests for start-up commissioning.
- Ability to conduct business with high ethical practices
