Scope, objective and relevance of position:

The vehicle quality and safety in the sense of software quality and security are the basic requirement for realization and for ensuring of the vehicle’s connectivity and digitalization.

With the increasing localization and self-development in region China, Volkswagen must be able to manage the quality of system and software which developed by region itself.

Key Tasks:

• Create, implement and manage a local software quality system for managing of the self-development process (e.g., software, service, app etc) in close synchronization with div. departments and JVs

• Ensure the VW Group and China specific software requirements be implemented into local software self-development projects while monitoring the development of QM (Software-Project maturity, BsM, Produkt-/Prozess-/FuSi-/Security-Checking)

• Establishment of reporting interfaces between headquarter and local companies

• Adapt, improve and implement localized software quality activities in software self-development projects, e.g., Software Quality-Gate, BsM-checking, function testing and BMG etc.

• Plan, perform, administrate and report software quality activities while the local software self-development projects

• Track and monitor the findings of software quality activities regularly

• Follow the defined improvement programs and review the implementation of local software self-development projects in terms of effectiveness

• Arise, calibrate, adjust, distribute Software Quality Requirements in KGAS, System- and Software architecture, FuSi, Automotive Security, Lessons Learned

• Plan and implement software analysis on Source Code-/Metrik-Analysis

• Report the analysis results on the Management committee, e.g. Car Security Committee, APS And support to make decision based on the results.

• Escalate critical case to related committees in VGC and JVs

• Develop new software quality requirements based on local best practice, e.g., for security, car related connectivity etc.

Qualification and skills:

Necessary education:

• Master / Bachelor, field of automotive engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering)

Technical skills:

• Distinctive knowledge of system/software quality management methods and – techniques, e.g. A-SPICE, Information Security

• The ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex project documents; including familiarity with MS Office, MS Projects, MS Visio. MS Visual Basis preferable.

• Advanced Software/Car IT Project management skills

• Advance knowledge in Car IT Services, Operation and Infrastructure (advanced knowledge preferred)

• The ability to develop car security related audits standards, processes and methods.

• Advanced Knowledge of common software quality/information security standards and methodologies, as well as experience achieving compliance using and/or with standards and regulations such as: ISO 2700ff, ISO15504, ISO330fff

• Translate technical vulnerabilities into business risk terminology for business units and recommend corrective actions to customers and project stake-holders

• Expert competence in working with Software Quality Risk and compliance Management frameworks, document in tracking sheet and coordinate the measures

• Advanced ability to plan, create and implement audit scopes to both perform internal testing of controls as well as to support external audits conducted in accordance with ISAE, ISO and so on

Personal skills:

• Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate well with people in a variety of positions, roles and levels (both in verbal and written)

• Excellent in effectively respond, verbally or written, to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints.

• High flexible and strong ability in managing changes in time and to analyze and solve problems involving several options with limited information.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

• Intercultural openness

Working experience (in years):

• Minimum 3 years working experience with System/Software Quality, System/Software Development process Audits, Software problem analysis (or similar experiences) in medium to large (international) automotive quality assurance organization

• Proven experiences in management and control of System/Software external service provider/ supplier

• Proven experience in performing and leading System/Software Quality assessments / audits

• Proven experience in defining System/Software Quality control requirements related to IT infrastructure and information system design and implementation.

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

• Chinese and English in writing and conversation mandatory, German is strongly preferable

• Minimum one of the international software quality related professional certifications such as A-Spice or Information Security are require
