Project Manager-Retail, Creative Industries & Sport

Location: Beijing

Package: Competitive salary range between RMB 9,500 – RMB 10,500/month based on matched qualification and experiences

Project Manager – CBBC, Beijing (Retail, Creative Industries & Sport )

CBBC is seeking a Beijing-based Project Manager to work across our work in retail, creative industries and sport. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the market landscape and experience working in China’s consumer, retail and creative industries (fashion and apparel, beauty and personal care, mother and baby, homeware and lifestyle, gaming, publishing, TV& Films, Animation, Arts& Design, Music, Advertising & Marketing, experience economy. An understanding of the sports industry would also be desirable. The role will involve working with a wide range of clients across the retail and creative industries (Eg: British Royal Warrant Brands, established UK brands, new to market brands, leading creative enterprises, cultural institutions and trade show organisers). The position will report into CBBC’s Creative Industries and Sports Sector Lead in China.

You will possess excellent research and analytical capabilities, project management skills and established business knowledge to write high quality market research reports and be proactive in identifying Chinese partners for UK companies. You should be a confident and energetic team player and also a very strong team leader who is keen to work on a diverse range of trade promotion activities in a fast growing market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality research, market insights, analysis and trade services events to UK businesses seeking growth in China.

Main responsibilities:

• As a Project Manager, you will be able to manage and implement a project or conduct research independently or able to work with other project managers as a team leader

• Researching and compiling in-depth market reports for clients

Requirements:

• Previous experience of market research in the retail, creative and sports industries

• Bachelor degree or Master degree (desirable)

• Excellent written and spoken English (essential)

• For Project manager level, at least 2-3 years relevant working experiences

Benefits and conditions of employment

CBBC offer competitive packages which include basic gross salary, social insurance (CBBC cover both employee and company contributions), medical insurance, and generous leave entitlement.

The gross annual package for this position is RMB 123.5K – RMB 136.5K with annual pro rata leave entitlement of 22-days for Chinese nationals.
