Summary:

The business development manager has the responsibility, within approved company policy, to deliver profitable sales for Xylem products and services and to develop Sales Plans, aligned to the Marketing and Strategic Plans.

Achieve individual sales/order/AR/Margin targets for BLU-X in China

Train and develop channel partners

Acts as Key Account manager for the government officials and trade associations in the region

Provide VOC to management team and support to build business model most suitable to your territory

Follow and obey rules in COC and Personal Handbook

Job Scope:

• Maintain relationship with existing customer in core markets
• Grow the business by developing new customer and penetrate into new markets
• Create & focus deployment plans on existing customer/or markets to increase revenue
• Conduct presentation to promote products with end users, design institute and customer
• Reporting all critical and necessary information in specified territory or market
• Maintain existing and develop new customer, make sure we are in the vendor list.
• Deep understand EmNet and competitor's products
• 8. Finish the negotiation of technical and commercial, meet company and individual target
• 9. Understand how to trace a project from information to an order
• 10. Assistant AE or field service for payment collection and solve the problem of job site
• 11. Cooperate with colleague and submit professional report on time
• 12. Understand how to manage existing and create new distributor in specified territory

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Strong business development, leadership, communication and technical skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset to build and rapidly grow BLU-X Smart Water enterprise in China.

• Technical understanding and experience in wastewater network engineering.

• Confidence, competence, enthusiasm and charisma to build relationships with top utility and industry leaders, standing up to the staunch defenders of the status quo, and opening the industry’s eyes to what is possible in the world of Intelligent Urban Watersheds.

• At least 5 years related experience in high-end technical business development and industry leadership.

• An innate passion to solve water on a planetary basis.

  It would be awesome if you:

• Have experience working with startup teams

• Have utility leadership experience

• 5+ years business development experience in a high tech, non-water related industry

• Masters degree or above

• Are knowledgeable and conversant in leading edge technologies, such as IoT, big data, machine learning/AI, etc.

• Have a track record of thought leadership in the urban water industry or related environmental industries
