This is a Purchasing Engineer , reporting to P&F Manager in Minhang Plant located in Shanghai, China which provides defined services to the internal customers with best quality in the most efficient way.

- Preparing and following up on purchasing order according to PR and ensuring materials on-time delivery.
- Coordinating with suppliers and related department to solve defective parts problem timely for keeping the production line running.
- Supporting Sourcing team to co-operate with suppliers to improve purchasing and logistics and decreasing material cost.
- Analyzing material shortage status and taking corrective action for production needs.
- Involving in supplier’s performance assessment.
- Handling ECR/ECN.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Must have a bachelor’s or similar degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation.
- Should be fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Should have good command on Ms Office, SAP or other ERP-system.
- Must be accurate, be able to work under pressure with high level of sense of urgency, good command and communication skills.
- Teamwork spirit, supplier management and control, familiarity with supplier network in industry preferred.
- Must have rich experience in purchasing, good knowledge of ERP systems and experience in electrical machines plant.
