Position Overview

Autodesk seeks an experienced software development engineer for our Building and Infrastructure Design Group in Autodesk China R&D Center (ACRD) based in Shanghai, China. You will be an important member of the product team building Civil 3D features. You will be a member of a scrum team consisting of Software Engineers (Dev), User Experience Designers (UX), Quality Assurance Engineers (QA), and Product Owner(PO).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scrum team members on project planning and execution
• Collaborate with global stakeholders on technical strategy, issue solving and dependency coordination
• Estimate effort and schedule for projects undertaken and complete them on time, adhering to pre-determined specification and quality standards
• Provide technical leadership for team members in order to maintain high quality code and architecture consistency
• Optimize source code to effectively leverage object-oriented design, development, and code reuse
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or MS in computer science or a related area
• 5+ years hands-on experience in large scale software product development
• Solid C++ programming skills
• Strong C#/.NET programming skills
• Experience in agile development is desired
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Good teamwork spirit in a dynamic environment
• Experience of development on CAD product is a plus
• Knowledge on Civil domain (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) is a plus
