Responsibilities
1. Ensure SMBC’s sound market profile and distribution network in loan and bond market.
2. Work with LCM, DCM and other relevant teams to generate income profit via promotion of distribution of loan, bond and other related products that SMBC Group engages to.
3. Assist to evaluation of underwriting process by working with LCM, DCM Group and other relevant teams
4. Support in making the most effective distribution strategy and liaise with relevant teams inside and outside of China.
5. Conduct the monitoring activities regarding the rules and regulations in relation to SMBC’s LCM and DCM business
6. Improves extensive network with institution investors as well as security firms, Law firms etc.
7. Conducts comprehensive market analysis on a regular basis and ensure an internal report and information sharing in a timely manner.

Requirement
1. Graduation with major in Economics, Finance, ideally with MBA/CFA
2. Relevant knowledge and experiences with bond/loan products at major banking/financial institutions/asset management enterprises in Hong Kong, China or other major markets.
3. Good presentation and interpersonal skills
4. Self-motivated, responsible and result-oriented
5. Able to work under pressure, independently and be a good team player
6. Fluent in both written and spoken English (or Japanese), Chinese as well
