PureLiving is seeking a talented individual to manage the development of existing and new proprietary indoor environmental improvement software products. As the product manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing management and development of the online SaaS service Qlear’s and PureLiving’s proprietary environmental control system (ECS) software. You will work to maintain PureLiving as a market leader in indoor environment technologies by understanding and contributing to the strategic vision of the company, budgeting product development life cycles, researching competitor’s offerings, and providing technical expertise.

    

    

The ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and has a strong track record of success in software management and design and technical support. This individual will report to the CEO

    

    

Responsibilities: 

• Understand business needs through collecting requirements from internal and external stakeholders in addition to conducting market research to assess competitor’s technological offerings, pricing and identify and predict market trends

        

·         Define the product roadmap with objective based goals and milestones

• Prepare timelines and budgets for product development

        

·         Work with sales to refine the pricing and the go to market strategy

    

·         Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications

    

·         Search for and develop out of house software development resources such as individuals and vendors, facilitate effective communication between internal and external teams and suppliers to create the best possible product

• Meet regularly with all key stakeholders including senior management, account managers, marketing, project managers and engineers
• Ensure existing and new products meet national and internal codes of compliance for performance and usability
• Provide training to internal and external customers to inspire and enthuse users of the product
• Implement or support marketing campaigns

                    

Requirements: 

• Proven track record in software development management using programming languages RUBY, Java, Javascript, React and PHP and working knowledge of database MySQL
• Working knowledge of cloud services such as Amazon web services (AWS) and Qingcloud
• Expert knowledge of product management best practices, functional design and application delivery methodology
• Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation
• Passion for innovative design, ability to think outside the box and identify trends
• Effective negotiation skills and ability to influence
• Extremely well-organized and detail oriented with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and relationships concurrently
• Highly resourceful with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• BA required, MBA strongly preferred
• Able to communicate in Chinese preferred
• Must be able to speak/read English, but strong written English is priority
• Must have strong proficiency with, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
