Job Summary (Purpose of the job)

1. Provides high quality, timely development and on-time input to client solutions for the pharmaceutical and related industries
2. Project module leader assignments range in complexity from basic analysis and problem solving to assisting in the development of more complex solutions to leading small team

Major Duties Performed (Main Functions)

1.  Leverages business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approach to client questions
2. Conducts primary and secondary research, and analyzes research to identify key findings and learning
3. Creates sections of reports, presentations, workshops and other client deliverables, under general guidance from experienced team leaders
4. Communicates findings and recommendations
5. Assists with proposals developments
6. Performs quantitative or qualitative analysis to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client deliverables
7. Develops broad knowledge of related consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities
8. Serves as the day-to-day project module leader and working closely with clients. Leads some learning, development and recruiting programs
9. Works independently or as part of a team, with some responsibility developing the career and skills of staff by coaching and sharing

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required

1. Strong academic track record including MBA or relevant graduate degree
2. 3 or more years relevant experience either in consulting with module leader experience or strong business acumen from industry
3. Project module leader experience or equivalent
4. Prior experience or avid interest in the healthcare and life science industries. Some project management experience
5. Adaptability and an ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge
6. Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
7. Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline
8. Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques, related to one’s functional area
9. Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors
10. Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace. Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies. Effective time management skills
