Coupang Global team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Principal, Global Instock Management for the Coupang Global business. This person must be entrepreneurial by nature with responsibility for contributing to a positive customer experience on Coupang’s global selection as a part of a fun, diverse, and global-experienced team. The Principal, Global Instock Management will be a key leader with leading supply chain experience and knowledge, capable of building close partnerships with key vendors across various market categories and take initiative in proposing and executing growth strategies in place for Coupang Global team into our rocket network. The primary goal of this role is set optimal inventory levels based on customer demand and building a strong and sustainable supply chain with partners.

    

    

Key Responsibilities:

• As a strong leader, great communicator and negotiator, the ideal candidate will have good business judgment and analytical horsepower to break down complex problems and the willingness to roll up sleeves
• Maintain 100% availability of key products across Coupang’s varied categories

            

·         Analyze cause of OOS and establish/execute solutions and sustainable process

    

·         Build coordinated collaboration process with key partners

    

·         Acutely forecast market dynamics and devise preemptive response measures for customers

    

·         Detailed objectives and key success metrics to the team and demonstrate leadership to encourage the team and drive steady growth

    

    

    

Basic Qualifications

    

• Preferred background in business management, engineering, SCM
• +10 years of business experience in SCM management, inventory management, sales, finance, procurement or operations.

    

·         Strong retail, eCommerce or product background with proven ability to drive change

    

·         Superb negotiator with experiences in dealing with C-level suppliers

    

·         Proven analytical skills and ability to influence people both internally and externally

    

·         Decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas

    

·         A passionate self-starter, ready to take Coupang’s customer experience to the next level

    

·         Ability to prioritize work and to find a way in a complex, fast-paced environment

    

    

 

    

Preferred Qualifications

    

·         Technology affinity and track record of employing systems to drive simplification and change

    

·         Ability to drive business conversation in both Chinese & English

    

·         Bachelor's degree majored in with major in business, supply chain, finance, analytical or related majors (Industrial engineering, SCM, mathematics, statistics, economics, marketing etc.)
