Team Overview部门概况

The Data Protection Group drives the product strategy, roadmap, and engineering delivery of the Veritas products, which includes NetBackup, APTARE, Backup Exec, Enterprise Vault (EV), EV.cloud, eDiscovery platform, and Veritas SaaS Backup.

Responsibilities工作职责:

• Design, develop and maintain high quality      code for product components, focusing on implementation using agile      methodology
• Receive requirements from      technical leads / product owners and perform software development feature      tasks
• Create unit tests, component tests      and automated functional tests for the software components developed.
• Propose technical solutions to      product/service problems and implement software components in line with      technical requirements.
• Enhance the existing code to add      new features to the product
• Fix issues in existing code
• Learn new technologies and apply      them in software development.
• Collaborate with peers on      implementation.
• Learn domain quickly      (backup/restore/snapshot/replication management etc.)

Qualifications任职要求:

• Total Experience: 0 to 3 years of      relevant or equivalent work experience
• Education: B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/      M.Tech from a reputed college.

Technical Skillsets技术能力要求:

• Must have strong C/C++ programming      skills
• Must possess knowledge of      Algorithms & Data Structure
• Knowledge of Agile development      methodologies including peer review, test driven development, and      continuous integration and delivery and relevant toolchain (e.g. JIRA,      BitBucket, etc)
• Should be good in hands-on      development and troubleshooting capability.
• Understanding of Cloud technology      (Knowledge of REST APIs, AWS S3, OpenStack, Azure) is a plus.
• Some knowledge of data analytics      and storage domain technologies such as Logical Volume Managers,      Filesystems, Snapshots, Disk Arrays & NAS Devices (e.g. EMC, NetApp      etc.), SAN/NAS Devices is a plus.
• Must have good system level (UNIX      System call, socket programming, Win32 APIs, multi-threading etc.)      programming knowledge on Unix/Linux (primary) and possibly on Windows      platform.
