Key Role & Responsibilities:

• To be involved in the system design and development of real-time embedded software for the TM500 product range, in particular for the physical layer work
• System design, implementation and test of complex real-time embedded components for TM500 test mobile product, with particular focus on the physical layer work. The candidate is expected to take part in the implementation work of the proposed the system design, and make sure it is delivered on time with quality

• 7+ years real-time embedded application development using the C programming language
• Good sound knowledge of mobile (wireless) communications, with 3GPP LTE or 5G physical layer implementation experience
• Good system design experience in LTE or 5G system, with focus on physical layer related work, as well as good understanding on MAC and RRC. Good knowledge on Linux kernel and radio would be a plus.
• Good understanding of digital signal processing, and its implementation
• Experience with coding on X86 server using AVX2 instructions would be a plus
• Experienced in code debugging and efficiency improvements
• Experienced in full product life cycle development
• Physical Layer 3GPP 5G NR work experience is not essential but would be a plus

• Ability to write clear, portable, maintainable and efficient code

• Must be a cooperative team player, pragmatic, and adaptable. Must show initiative and be self-motivated, i.e. able to work with a minimum of supervision

• Must be able to deliver to tight deadlines, and be able to deal with stressful situations and see the way through with little immediate support while remaining focused on the job

• Must be enthusiastic, intelligent, numerate, and a clear verbal and written communicator ( both in English and Chinese)

• Ability and willingness to work methodically within a defined process to produce high quality software

• Ability to write concise and accurate documentation

• Previously Worked on LTE or 5G NR either in handset or base station development as a design and implementation role

• Excellent university degree in electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering, digital signal processing or a similar discipline
