Siemens Energy is currently hiring a Project Manager for new construction projects of our Real Estate in China, based in Shanghai.

What are your responsibilities?

Your main responsibilities are:

• Leads multiple projects ranging from office fit-out, larger building maintenance works, land developments and disposals, factory extensions in brownfield environments up to new construction of offices and factories from inception to completion.
• Incorporating our Zero Harm Culture in all projects from start to finish to avoid any accidents on site,
• Facilitates project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project;
• Support the location managers for renovation concept and technical feasibility studies

The detailed Requirements on PM role or implement via managing PMC (Project Management Companies):

• Works with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals;
• Designs project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline.
• Leading the change management process; Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues.
• Monitors and communicates project status to project team.
• Plans and monitors project budget and quarterly/yearly forecast quality, conducts research and analysis;
• Provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines. Manages project risk; uses quality tools to identify areas of risk; works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions.
• Documents and shares team learning's with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the project. Maintains project notes, databases, and other records;
• Monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments. Identifies and assigns appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks; guides and coaches team members through various stages of the project; provides developmental feedback to team members. Ensure the projects are in compliant with PM@RE.

What do you need to qualify for this role?

• Bachelor degree in Civil engineering, architecture and or business with a Real Estate concentration or equivalent project management experience
• Min of 5 years (10 yrs preferred) project management experience with focus on Real Estate projects, Experience as both Owner and Project Management Companies are highly preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, including MS Project, reading blueprints, preparing Gantt charts, assessing risk and opportunities
• Excellent communication skills, social competency and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage and direct several projects simultaneously of varying degrees of complexity
• Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with colleagues to build and foster relationships.
• Fluent English and Mandarin Communication

Preferred Knowledge/skills, Education & Experience:

• Project Management Professional Certification (e.g. PMP/PMI, IPMA, Prince2 or equivalent)
• Master degree is preferred
