Our Technical Services team in Dalian, China is a specialized capability within our Professional Services practice. We aim to increase the value of Veeva products to our customers by integrating them into their enterprise architecture landscape. We provide technical advisory services, implement and integrate our products and build custom software solutions.
As a Technical Practice Manager, you will be leading members of Veeva’s Technical Services group working on building strong teams from the ground up. This team tackles only the most complex problems working to simplify them and ensure the customer’s speed and success.
The ideal candidate will excel in three key areas to contribute to an innovative and growing team. First, the candidate will be a servant-leader dedicated to recruiting new team members and developing existing team members to advance in their careers. Second, the candidate will excel at delivering advanced technical solutions to our customers and develop a trusted-advisor partnership with our customers to deliver success. Third, the candidate will be an excellent internal leader who is capable of creating successful cross-functional relationships and represent services well to Product, Sales, and Strategy.

What You’ll Do
● Take the overall responsibility to ensure all solution requirements that bring business value to our customers and are outside the capabilities of Veeva products gets delivered in time.
● Build and lead an amazing team of Technical Architects and Consultants being able to
Design and implement Force solution (Apex/VisualForce/Lightning/etc)
Design and implement custom data visualization as well as applications
Design and implement cloud-based integration
Develop internal and external tools to help our customers and our consultants
Own the technical domain leads and support regions wherever needed
Contribute to our professional services knowledge base
● Managing development projects, resources
● Support the sales team and solution consultants in winning new business
● Work closely with customers to understand their pain points and recommend efficient solutions
● Oversee team and support consultants wherever needed
● Evangelize the value of Veeva’s Technical Services

Requirements
● Native Chinese and proficient English skills – both verbal and written
● Strong presentation skill with an ability to articulate to a business and technical audience
● 5+ years leading, hiring, and growing technical teams
● Direct experience of designing, building solutions and leading the technical consultants to get development delivered
● Direct experience in translating business requirements into software specifications including writing and reviewing technical documentation
● Has owned any technical areas as a SME and proven track record of coaching new members
● Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with a software professional services organization or consulting background
● Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

● Development on AWS, AliCloud, SFDC Platform
● Experience designing and developing cloud-based integrations
● Project management experience
● WeChat Development & Integration Experience
● Familiar with the common Java framework
