SUMMARY

    

Align Technology is a fast paced, empowered, international working environment. You will be a member of APAC IT team and provides majority of operational support in ZiYang, China.

    

Responsible for maintenance of all IT systems that the Company uses for daily manufacturing operations, 24hrs every 365 days of the year. As well to coordinate with Align Technology corporation support for updates.

    

Roles & Responsibilities for MES System helpdesk Support

    

• Windows and Linux server installation.
• Installation and Troubleshooting of Structure cabling.
• Router and switching installation and basic configuration.
• Computer and Printer repair.
• Knowledge in VOIP telecom.
• User application support and including web applications.
• Company approved software setup.
• User request and incidents follow up.
• Restore any production equipment to enable services as soon as possible
• 1st level support for any incident
• 1st level support for Applications
• 1st lever support for any user request
• Understand and follow our Severity process
• Follow Global service desk best practices
• Responsible for patching in the assigned area
• Responsible to create Acronis HDD backups of PC’s in his area assigned
• Patch equipment to comply with out patching process
• Responsible to cross train other team members in the area assigned
• Responsible for production support assigned in his/her shift
• Other responsibilities could be assign.
• Regular health-check for server room
• Store room management.

    

    

QUALIFICATIONS

    

Required Technical skills:

    

· A thorough understanding of MS Windows OS & factory application suite, as deployed in a corporate organization. Good understanding of general server/PC concepts (such as security, file sharing, server/storage resources, centralized updates).

    

· A thorough understanding of basic networking concepts (such as DHCP, DNS, WINS).

    

· Basic MES system knowledge and manufacturing experience is preferred

    

· Experience with backup software, Acronis experience is preferred

    

· Experience with PC anti-virus software.

    

• A good understanding of basic computer hardware installation/configuration and troubleshooting skills and knowledge.

    

The following skills are consider a plus:

    

· ITIL fundamental

    

· Rockwell MES system

    

· Acronis backup system

    

· CCNA

    

    

Non-technical requirements:

    

· The ability to work with distributed teams across different time zones.

    

· Ability to understand customers and their requirements.

    

· Takes ownership of problems/issues within his/her control and manage until it's resolved.

    

· Executes to goals and objectives; makes and keeps commitments.

    

· Good communication, Team sprint and motivate

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    

To perform this work properly, the individual must be able to perform each task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of your knowledge, skills and / or abilities required. · Desirable college or above’s degree in IT engineering, bachelor’s degree is preferred, or Experience in same position

    

· Server configuration in Windows or Linux

    

· Installation and troubleshoot of structured cabling.

    

· Configuration of network Switches and routers.

    

· English indispensable to establish communication.

    

· Minimum of 3 years relevant full time work experience, where having worked in an international environment/manufacturing would be a plus (with special emphasis on working with U.S. companies).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

    

· The performance in this job sometimes requires being standing, walking, sitting, to talk and listen. Sometimes it will be required to lift or move moderate weight equipment

    

WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS

    

· Shift work schedule, probably work at night

    

· Overtime work might be required.

    

· The required by the company to meet with client’s time frames and capacity of the machinery setup in days and time, without exceeding the total hours marked on the China labor law.
