1. The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for establishing and monitoring new processes and / or changes to existing processes to ensure they are designed to support Continuous Improvement (CI) activities for each assigned site (Design for Lean, Six Sigma and Best Practice);
2. This individual should provide site leadership and lean expertise to the dept. and be able to coach each assigned Lear location in Best Practice manufacturing processes;
3. Design world-class manufacturing processes using Value Stream Mapping methodology;
4. Ensure Global Best Practices are instituted into each new process and sustained in existing processes;
5. Coach the dept. in Continuous Improvement principles (Lean, Six Sigma and Best Practices) and drive compliance and implementation;
6. Partner with Country Facilities and Corporate Manufacturing to validate and ensure all new expenditures, dispositions, expansions and constructions are consistent with Continuous Improvement and Sustainability principles;
7. Identify and work to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of LSS & BP across the assigned sites.

1. This position requires a technical Leader who is highly credible and has the experience, energy, and discipline to manage business projects in an extremely complex and mission critical environment, to drive a long-term contribution to the company;
2. Engineering or technical degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and education. An advanced degree, ideally in business or a quantitative field, will be well regarded;
3. Manufacturing and/or production experience, minimum 5 years;
4. Accredited LSS Black Belt, Lean Sensei, and or Master Black Belt certification is a plus;
5. Deep knowledge of culture change coupled with the relentless focus on details necessary to move company-wide initiatives forward;
6. Proven financial acumen, with the ability to provide an impartial, consultative and solutions oriented approach. Excellent written and oral communications skills, with an ability to negotiate and mediate effectively;
7. Able to work in a collaborative environment.
