Key responsibilities:

  

·         Sort through daily invoices generated from Oracle.

·         Make sure all invoices are submitted (email, mail or portal) to customers timely and correctly. Record all invoices’ status for future tracking.

·         Ensure that customers have received Viavi invoices on a timely basis, and that invoices are established for prompt payment by customers.

·         Work with teammates to identify and resolve problem invoices.

·         On a daily basis, validates all receipts from VIAVI bank accounts and posts to the AR Module in Oracle, using customer remittance advices and input from AR Collections team.

·         Cash Posting for Trade and Intercompany Accounts Receivable.

·         Daily research and correction of cash posting errors.

·         Actively engage with internal VIAVI team to apply cash & credit memos as instructed by customers, issue cash posting adjustments (sales tax, bank fees, debit memos, early payment discounts, etc.) per approval and policy processes.

·         Prepare monthly AR account reconciliations.

  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 1 ~ 2 years' relevant Accounts Receivable experience
• Possess a positive and proactive attitude to resolve problems.
• Experience with basic financial and word processing software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.).
• Experience with Oracle software will be advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
• CET-6, ability to communicate in written and spoken English language (required).
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional communications skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
