MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

·         A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join the MCI team. This exciting role is a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Account Director to work with one of the world’s leading technology company. 

   

·         You would lead the client team providing strategic direction, financial control and day-to-day operations of the accounts, helping to lead a busy account team in the planning, creation and implementation of campaigns while ensuring quality of work and delivery of services to the highest standard.


Job Description


As Account Director, you'll be expected to:


·         Develop Client Relationship

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision makers at both a senior and operational level in order to be commercially successful

·         Review and monitor client feedback (positive and negative) on a constant basis to ensure cliental needs are met

·         Proactively engage client and be involved in their internal brainstorming to achieve the strategic and creative goals for the account


·         Account Growth

·         Direct, retain and grow the account to meet annual revenue and margin targets.

·         Lead new business meetings, pitches and proposals.

·         Create comprehensive account plans to win new business from new and/or existing clients.

·         Staying abreast of the latest technology/IT market trends and channel solutions into clients B2B marketing solutions.

·         Direct and manage the account teams to ensure campaigns are executed in accordance with client expectations and quality standards.

·         Taking the lead in annual/ bi-annual procurement, client and campaign reviews.

·         Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial management of all account, providing monthly forecasts and demonstrating full commercial control over all client accounts.


·         Internal Relationships

·         Work with the team to nurture their performance, skills and personal development to ensure that all campaigns are executed flawlessly from briefing to post-campaign reporting.

·         Inspire, motivate and mentor the team to manage clients professionally.

·         Train and guide the team to ensure full understanding of the brand, products and services, and buyer behaviors.

·         Ensure campaigns are constantly being managed to a high standard and delivered within the agreed timeline.

·         Ensure all internal processes and procedures are properly adhered.

·         Managing and overseeing the planning, resources and implementation of events with the business unit, using the support of service departments and external resources

·         Motivating, training and developing business unit with the support of the Business Director in line with staff development plans

  • The Event Manager immediate line of responsibility and accountability is to Business Director


Job Requirements

    

    

·         Permanent Full-time Position

    

·         Remuneration will be negotiated but will be commensurate with experience and expertise and linked to agreed performance outcomes.

    

·         You have 7+ years in an account management role within an event, marketing agency

    

·         Experience in the IT sector is preferred

    

·         Possess a thorough understanding of events, marketing, content creation, registration and production 

    

·         Possess strong proposal writing presentation skills

    

·         Fluent in English and Chinese required

    

·         Exceptional project management and customer service skills

    

·         Enjoy building relationships, retaining accounts and bringing in new business

    

·         Results driven, customer centric and a solution focused

    

·         Passionate, resourceful and forward-thinking 

    

·         Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment

    

·         Creative flair

    

·         Strong desire to succeed
