Mission:
To enable the advancement of the Company’s mission by providing relevant and timely financial information to both Korea and China, and relevant financial solutions to the leadership. Meanwhile to serve as the Company financial policy advisor and to promote long term economic sustainability and responsible resource allocation. And to continuously seek further efficient management resources to ensure the integrity and compliance of business processes.
Key hub in the financial close process for the store and warehouse reporting. Position ensures financial information captured in the Profit and Loss statements (and Balance Sheets) is complete and accurate on monthly basis. Focus aimed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the month-end close process through development of staff, accounting systems, and procedures. Must position team for success and ensure high quality work product. Requires review and analysis of monthly results to ensure consistent standards of financial reporting.

- Work with the team together to support the launch of this new business project in China
- Support the new launched cross border b2c retail business accounting procedure setup and system implementation preparation work

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all the accounting functions impacting both cross-border retail and warehouse operations.
- Build up company retail business related accounting policies and procedures, with the goal that all will be accomplished to provide monthly and annual financial results within established timeframes.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of procedures to be followed by Retail Accounting staff.
- Support accounting system initial implementation (SAP & NetSuite) and continuous optimization.
- Manage tax related financial report and export VAT tax rebate application and communication.
- Apply and ensure proper application of retail and cost inventory methodologies for all retail transactions.
- Responsible for the reconciliations of all staff and the accounting functions of the team.
- Mentor and develop Retail Accounting staff while maintaining a team culture reflective of Company’s goals.
- Validate month-end information is accurate by analyzing GL and other data vs expectations/historical results to spot unusual items or incorrect classification and coding. Determine solution to address any issues timely.
- Ensure compliance with all Company accounting policies and timely & accurate monthly retail profit and loss reports.
- Drive development, implementation, execution, and maintenance of all accounting systems (in coordination with tech and warehouse Operations).
- Identify improvement opportunities to streamline processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness related to accounting processes.
- All of the above will be accomplished collaboratively but will also provide opportunities for independent decision making.
- Working Relationship: The Manager of Retail Accounting will work closely with all levels of cross, warehouse Operations, Finance and IT Personnel as well as External Auditors, bank, tax, SAFE, other partners and etc.

Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
- Language: Good written and spoken English
- Computer: Good excel, word and other office tools skill
- Behavioural competences: Accurate, logical, efficient, responsible and on time delivery with good quality, have capacity to manage a small team in daily work.
- Personal attributes: Be honest and accountable, leadership, self-motivated, good communication skills, able to work under pressure, team spirit; objectivity and fairness.
- Business Competences: 8~15 years related working experience
- Professional skills: CPA/CIMA/ACCA is preferred, and with a good sense of tax planning/positioning
Preferred Qualifications:
retail related accounting working experiences and B2C e-commerce business related are plus
