1. GENERAL SUMMARY:
1) Primary responsibility to assist new project introduction from EVT to Shilu manufacturing and release product support.
2) Perform manufacturing engineering assignments associated with integrity of product design to assure manufacturability
3) Quality and cost effectiveness with a minimum of supervision and guidance

2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Daily interface with EVT/Shilu team, ensure production capabilities, equipment, facilities, safety, quality, cost, operating.
2) Specification, customer and company standards requirments are achieved;
3) Plan, define, implement new MFG system, Quality inspection flow, control points.
4) Provide technical assistance to production, perform all analysis and prepare status KPI reports.
5) Prepare cost estimate, bills of material and revisions to engineering drawing and related specifications.
6) Prepare all production/process document and update them accordingly.
7) Train operator about manufacturing process/tool.
8) Implement DBS tools to improve productivity and Quality.

3. REQUIREMENTS:
1) Theories and concepts of manufacturing engineering with acknowledge of lean production and Kaizen. Supervisory experience is desired.
2) Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' mechanical technical experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. At least 2 years' experiences with assembly, machine and equipment. 1-2 new product development experience is also desired.
3) Has some trouble shooting skill and can use IE tool to improve process
4) Fluent in both oral and written English.--This is very important.
5) Be familiar with the Auto CAD and Pro-E software.
6) NPI experience is preferred.

4. MEASUREMENT:
1) New production is successfully introduced into mass production.
2) Line down due to manufacturing process/equipment issue.
3) Productivity improved by means of DBS tool.
4) Quality improved.
