Your Role and Responsibilities
Play a leading role in advising clients on business transformation through an analytical approach that combines human-centered design and an understanding of emerging technologies and platforms. As an Associate Experience Consultant, you’ll help support and lead Experience Strategy efforts through Insight, Idea, and Impact to uncover customer insights, define a strategy to innovate the customer experience, and create a roadmap to guide the execution of the strategy.
You’ll focus on leading ethnographic research, guiding the analysis/synthesis processes, and work closely with clients on analyzing the end-user throughout the project.
Work you could do as an Associate Experience Consultant:
Create best in class user experiences and helps provide strategic direction for all aspects of the user experience
Partner across teams and the Client to understand business objectives, user goals, customer targets, technical platforms and capabilities and translates that into a user experience strategy and framework.
Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations by helping Clients design and implement a model that delivers a consistent, high-quality Client experience across all available and appropriate channels at a reasonable cost-to-serve.
Identify key insights that fuel the creation of compelling, emotionally relevant and effective user experiences and online marketing programs that achieve Client's strategic brand and business objectives.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
·Track record of academic success
·Highly motivated, with clear evidence of drive and significant achievements
·Exceptional quantitative analysis skills and ability to derive recommendations informed by market data and insights and experience mapping capabilities
·Ability to set and document user experience visions and identify key insights that fuel the creation of compelling, emotionally relevant and effective user experiences
·Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines, and share/incorporate feedback
·Powerful communication and storytelling skills, with an ability to communicate client needs, business and technology requirements and user research into vision documentation clearly and simply
·Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively in an intense team environment, able to build direct working relationships across all levels of the IBM and client teams
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Prefer business background withinternship experience with consulting firms, such as big 4 or MBB.
