Your Role and Responsibilities
Develop an event strategy as part of a multi-touch, surrounded with associated digital activities (webcast/Webinars) and social to drive increased and deeper client engagement.
Manage sponsorship, show-floor expo, the agency relationship(s) and ensuring implementation and execution of end to end event strategy and plan with highest of standards and as per event brand experience guidelines.
Collaborate and advice Campaign Manager on building communication plans for internal and external audiences, ensure event specific response lead management plan is implemented.
Manage event budget, continuously monitor event performance thereby optimizing activities, ensuring marketing created revenue commitments are met post event.
Collaborate with Brand, Content, Product Marketing and sales teams for event messaging, content, curriculum, sessions, speakers manage the process.
Engage Sellers and drive to registration plans and efforts.
Own, manage and develop guidance, education and communication around event marketing tools, process, CTEBA, metrics, experiences, agency relations, best practices and response lead management in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Consult on one or more of the following critical success areas of IBM Event Marketing like digital media, social media engagement, event content and messaging, experiential activations assets, to name a few.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Event Journey Planning: Design and manage the attendee journey throughout the entire event lifecycle (pre, on-site and post), continually evolve it in collaboration with the diamond team, ensure the event is an integrated part of an overall campaign, and analyze performance of the event journey, the experience and the follow up.
Essential Event Experience Development: Develop an event experience strategy and execution plan that directly aligns to the buyer and business objectives, in collaboration with the Diamond Team. This must include: (1) event experiences that differentiate IBM and allow direct buyer connections to our SMEs, (2) the use of the latest technology (cognitive, digital, social, mobile, etc.), data insights, IBM and event partner capabilities, and industry trends
