About TCIO office

The treasury/Chief Investment Office (TCIO) in China is responsible for daily asset and liability management, including:

• Managing the bank’s funding and liabilities through diversifying funding sources, and managing short term deployment activities
• Aggregating and managing the bank’s liquidity risk, including deploying the bank’s excess liquidity, also responsible for compliance with both internal and regulatory liquidity requirements
• Aggregating and managing the interest rate risk of the bank’s main line of business( LOBs) through AFS investment

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle daily treasury business independently
• Manage liquidity to keep both internal and regulatory liquidity ratios within limit
• Conduct ***, FX swap transaction etc. for daily funding purpose
• Calculate and publish FTP
• Manage banking book interest rate risk through AFS investment

Essential skills

• High levels of self-motivation
• Strong attention to detail
• CFETS trading license
• Preferably previous working experience within a Treasury role but not prerequisite
• Fluent in Mandarin & English
