Position Overview / Purpose:
To be responsible for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions in Cochlear China, ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of internal accounting, month end closing and reporting; ensure necessary internal control system is in place for daily operation; ensure the compliance to taxation and other local requirement.

Accountabilities:

Accountability 1: Accounts Receivable
? Verifying cash collection from related bank accounts in order to release Sales orders;
? Create Sales report from various streams, including B2B, B2C, Repair Centre, ensure the data integrity in each module;
? Submit monthly Receivable Aging Report to regional office;
? Collaborate with Service team to support recipients ad hoc request, including but not limited to VAT invoice generation, wechat fund transfer, cash refund to customers, etc.

Accountability 2: Accounts Payable
? Perform offline payments, including but not limited to taxation, salaries, IIT, etc.
? Serve as back-up to Accountant Specialist (to be hired) to manage daily Payables when the person is off duty;

Accountability 3: Taxation
? Issue VAT paper invoices to distributors and individuals;
? Issue VAT electronic invoices to individuals based on JD transactions;
? Issue receipts and other documents by ad hoc request from customers
? Ensure the data integrity between Oracle and Golden Tax system;
? Perform input VAT verification and submission on a regular basis;
? Prepare and report monthly VAT filing with service providers;
? Custody of Invoice Chop

Accountability 4: Accounts Analysis and Other Finance Responsibilities
? Perform bank reconciliation on a monthly basis;
? Partner with Logistic team to work on inventory aging, PIS reports to regional office;
? Lead half year and annual stock take;
Key Incumbent requirements:

Minimum:
? 5+ years working experience in Finance, MNC experience is preference;
? CPA in China or equivalent, for example, ACCA, CIMA, CGA, CA;
? Excellent Microsoft skills, in particular excel;
? Oracle or SAP related hands on experience;
? Sound oral and written communication skills in English
? High level of accuracy in checking & processing information;
? Ability to form good relationships with colleagues, clients and external service providers;
? Able to work on own initiative, make effective decisions and as also work as part of a team;
? A positive flexible attitude;

Ideal:
? Medtech or Pharmaceutical industry experience;
