POSITION SUMMARY:

    

Based upon IMA development strategies and China market status, the role of Channel Manager focuses on developing short-term and long-term business plans on course providers development in China. The position is to design a series of guidance and policy to supervise, motivate and support courses providers on the growth of CMA training. Meanwhile, the position needs to work closely with BD teams in each region on day-to-day execution of channel management in China. Drive commercial excellence in China market and manage all channel activities in China.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:    ·       



  • Support China Chief Representative to develop short-term and long-term business plans on course providers/ARCPs development. 
  • Design and implement channel development programs to improve the performance and efficiency of course providers/ARCPs as well as formulate and carry out channel strategies and policies to drive business growth.
  • Actively manage the relationship with assigned ARCPs to ensure alignment with IMA China objectives. 
  • Work with BD team to identify more suitable channel candidates and build robust channel system which includes more and more high-profile course providers; 
  • Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using sales tools and application, prepare and participate in business reviews/forecasts to ensure a constant flow of information between channel/distributors and IMA China; 
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor activities, development and ensure this information is collected and made available to leadership; 
  • Support business team on channel effectiveness analysis and improvement Distributors performance evaluation, build up region ARCPs profile, engage in their P&L renew, channel conflict monitoring and termination.  
  • Conduct TTT trainings and engage with CMA trainers. 
  • Other duties as assigned by line manager and IMA senior management.     


    SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and OTHER REQUIREMENTS:    

  • Bachelor's Degree or above, minimum of 5 years of experience in channel management
  • Ability to communicate using English and Mandarin.
  • A proven track-record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong ability to undertake working pressure, result-driven and self-motivated
  • Have strong logical thinking and risk-sensitive identification and judgement capabilities
