SUMMARY

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Maintenance supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the maintenance activities within the Singapore AFAB site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Directly supervises the maintenance team, providing effective direction, prioritization, and team management, ensuring established objectives are achieved.

* Coordinates and oversees the maintenance activities, including calibrations, PM’s, process validations, loop checks, shift to shift handoffs and equipment failure troubleshooting.

* Utilizes tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis as they apply to troubleshooting and failure prevention with equipment and its operational efficiency.

* Analyzes the Top Five equipment failures. Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.

* Works with Engineering and Production to perform analyses of assets including:

         o Asset utilization

         o Overall equipment effectiveness

         o Mean Time Before Failure

* Ensures that maintenance process is compliant from a Regulatory standpoint. This includes adherence to Safety and Quality policies and procedures.

* Responsible for personal safety and safety of others.

* Familiarity with Automation, PLC, Electrical and mechanical maintenance processes.

* Provide coverage and resource backup to fellow Technicians and Technical Engineers.

* Administration of third party service providers.

* Evaluation of all critical parts are on spare inventory, quote and buy if necessary.

* Maintain and update the CMMS program and ensure proper utilization of system.

* Proper housekeeping of responsible areas.

* Perform any other projects or duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

* At least Diploma in any Engineering field or Equivalent such as mechatronic, mechanical or electrical engineering.

* At least 3 years industrial maintenance planning experience. Previous experience in a food or pharma manufacturing environment.

* At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Food Industry. At least 8 years of experience to be qualified for Senior Maintenance Supervisor.

* Previous experience and knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance technologies. Experience in working with service providers.

* Experience with SAP and CMMS preferred.

* Ability to work shift – 8 or 12 hours rotating or fixed shift.

* Must be able to lift 20 kg load.

* Knowledge of quality systems, desirable used in the medical industry, such as: ISO 13485.

* Familiar with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
