Position: Head of IT
Employer: International Commercial Vehicle Industry
Reposting line: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Location: Wuhan

Role of this position:
Responsible for overall planning, organizing and execution of all IT functions for the company. This includes direction all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of the infrastructure, applications and development of new technical solutions.

Responsibility:
- Provide leadership, vision and management to the IT department
- Develop, implement and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure that supports the needs of the company’s business
- Set up and manage qualified IT staff
- Planning budget of IT essentials in the organization
- Ensuring that the data stored are safe and creating backups if IT system suffers
- Providing troubleshooting solutions in times of IT disasters in the organization
- Allocating responsibilities to staff in order to provide better end-user interface, quality of service and efficient customer support






Requirements:
- University degree in Information Technology and more than 10 years of experience in the field
- Five years of experience managing and direction on IT operation
- Good knowledge of business processes, management, budgeting and business office operations
- Good understanding of computer systems characteristics, features and integration capabilities
- Experience in managing state of the art PDM System (SAP and CAD System)
- Proven ability in IT planning, organization and development
- Ability to present ideas in a business friendly and user-friendly language
- High level of written and spoken English, German is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
