实验室主管/实验室运营

The work of operation specialist will be arranged by operation manager, but except for emergence or temporary support, the work mainly focuses on following:

  1. Service Contact Window
  2. Response for Lab service hotline. The service hotline is a service call from Johnson & Johnson to the PKI staff to respond to the needs of the laboratory service.
  3. Receive the materials related to lab, such as parts, consumables, reagent etc.
  4. Vendor coordination and reception

  8. Document Maintenance

  10. Maintain equipment tracking documentation. Metric examples: Accurate master equipment list; minimal equipment downtime.
  11. Archive equipment related documentation, includes but not limits to user manual, SOP, installation, qualification, calibration, maintenance, repair, discard records.
  12. Create, replace and archive equipment use logs.
  13. Draft lab management related SOP. All SOPs need to be reviewed and approved by JLABs operation manager.

  15. Consumable and Reagent Management

  17. Register the consumables requisition application.
  18. Maintain stock of materials and perform regular routine maintenance where appropriate.
  19. Remind Customers of timely replenishment based on minimum inventory alerts.
  20. Update consumable list annually according to actual situation.
  21. Ensure consumable are stored orderly.
  22. The consumable refers to common consumables need to replace in equipment maintenance, such as filter of pure waters system, pump oil, etc.
  23. Reagent Management
  24. Support licensees with their inventories and compliance. Metric examples: Minimal incorrectly stored materials reported through periodic audits.
  25. Daily chemical inventory labeling and storage checks.
  26. Cold Storage.
  27. Support allocation of shared storage space, including maintaining signage and footprint of freezers, fridges, and cryogenic storage.
  28. Maintain and monitor cryogenic gas and dry ice usage.
  29. Support monitoring of cold storage through software systems. Metric examples: Minimal time cold storage out of preset ranges; minimal gas and dry ice re-order time; up-to-date cold storage usage reporting.

  31. Procurement Management
  32. Obtain required documentation and approval prior to creation of Purchase Requisitions for service requests to be completed by non-PerkinElmer suppliers.
  33. Identify Customers instrument/system-based or technical need & ensure that required documentation is secured prior to purchase requisition release.
  34. After POs have been issued, ensure service delivery dates are correct and revise as necessary, per follow-up with suppliers and customers.
  35. Ensure purchase requisitions are closed within 180 days, and work with PO Specialists to confirm associated purchase orders are closed as well.
  36. Work with service delivery team to ensure service delivery goals are met for cost savings, cost avoidance and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  37. Assist with vendor satisfaction surveys; provide results to service leadership, service provider and customer where appropriate.
1)Maintain Annual scheduled service plan (preventative maintenance, Calibration, IOQ etc.) and ensure service would be performed on time via tracking software.2)Contact vendor to carry out equipment maintenance, repair, calibration and other service according to user’s requirement.3)Update the service label after service finished.4)Send the instrument to the metrology institute for calibration.5)  Complete corrective actions as assigned. Example Metric: minimize the downtime of equipment. 1)The portal system will be provided to Customer to manage the equipment inventory.2)At the set-up stage, a professional technical team will help JLABs to build up the inventory data. The administrator should update asset information to portal system, inventory information includes but not limits to Manufacture, Model No, Description, Installation date, warranty service, service vendor, etc. 3)Add, move or delete equipment information when inventory update.4)Provide the actual inventory information to Customer when Customer need. 

  1. Handle additional work requests as requested by Operations Manager
  2. Lab upkeep (Licensee company signage, general upkeep and cleanliness of lab)
  3.  S&R (Back up to Haz waste tech)
  4.  Manage help desk tickets and triage as appropriate, answer customers, resolve tickets, etc.)
  5. Assist with Licensee onboarding and offboarding
  6. Schedule and coordinate specialty equipment training
  7. Coordinate space modifications with Licensee and Ops Manager
  8. Front desk as needed. (Front desk service isn’t covered by PKI proposal, but for emergency situation, PKI staff can be as back up person.)
  9.  EHS support, provide guidance on our policies with vendors, licensees, visitors
  10. Co-chair Safety Committee meetings
  11. Assume role as part of emergency response team and will have an assigned duty for an emergency situation.
  12. Assist with updating training materials
  13. Assist with site audits/inspections
  14. Supervise waste tech haz waste bulking
  15. Customer service

Background Requirements

  1. Operation specialist
  2. Chemical or biomedical background
  3. At least 2 years laboratory operation experience
  4. Proficient in office software such as word, excel and PPT
  5. Mid-level English communication skills
  6. basic project management knowledge
