The Project manager will provide project management and onboarding support to new and existing State Street clients and internal operations.

What you will be responsible for:

As Project Manager you will:

• Independent run regional/global projects with senior (MD and Above) stakeholders involved.
• Create & execute project plan, revise as appropriate to meet changing needs & requirements.
• Create and manage project documentation and checklists.
• Resolve and escalate project and operational issues in a timely fashion.
• Effectively communicate progress and escalations to superiors & Operations.
• Interpret project needs and work to meet those needs, offer assistance and advice on standard practical issues.
• Identify, develop and deploy process improvements leading to service level improvements and/or unit cost & operational risk reduction.
• Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal policies and procedures, as well as provide input to further development of best practices.
• Identify opportunity for product automation based on project timeline, service requirements etc.
• Oversight implementation of new systems and processes.
• Conduct Post Implementation Review.
• Ad-hoc problem resolving.
• Other priorities per management requirement, e.g. team development and governance.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

• Business or Finance major
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience – financial services with fund accounting and custody experience preferred
• Project management experience in large complex projects
• Initiative, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Sense of urgency when performing tasks and projects; ability to respond to shifting priorities
• PC Skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project, Flowcharting, Visio
